Harnessing abundant solar resources, an eco-resort located off the coast of Panama has chosen advanced lead batteries, paired with a battery management system (BMS), to power their island microgrid. This unique project has installed new lead batteries to the existing battery energy storage system.
[pdf] In this project, an 8kW hybrid inverter is paired with a high-performance 15.36kWh lithium energy storage battery to form a complete home energy solution. This setup provides ample power to run essential appliances—such as lighting, fans, refrigerators, TVs, and even water pumps—without interruption.
