[pdf] The project, owned and operated by AES Distributed Energy, consists of a 28 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) and a 100 MWh five-hour duration energy storage system. AES designed the unique DC-coupled solution, dubbed “the PV Peaker Plant,” to fully integrate PV and storage as a power plant.
[pdf] In this project, an 8kW hybrid inverter is paired with a high-performance 15.36kWh lithium energy storage battery to form a complete home energy solution. This setup provides ample power to run essential appliances—such as lighting, fans, refrigerators, TVs, and even water pumps—without interruption.
