Rapid response kit

Rapid response kit

Back to Vetter

The first mobile lifting bag for rapid rescue of buried victims

With lifting bags, there has been no efficient solution for the rapid and permanently self-sufficient rescue of buried victims. With the Vetter Rapid Response Kit, we are changing this and setting new standards for use in disaster areas – put on the backpack, switch on the compressor and off you go. In the compact and durable backpack, emergency forces find everything they need in the debris field:

The Vetter Rapid Response Kit is always used when the terrain is particularly extensive and impassable or cannot be driven over with a vehicle.
In use at:
  • Earthquakes
  • Tornado
  • Tsunami

RAPID RESPONSE KIT

Vetter 8-bar(116 psi) lifting bags (2 x):
Compact enough (37 x 37 cm) for quick use and at the same time big enough for lifting heavy loads. And with an insertion height of only 2.5 cm, the ideal choice for fast attack use in the debris field.

DeWALT battery compressor:
Easy to operate, robustly built and, thanks to its 54-volt battery technology, permanently ready for self-sufficient use at any time. In short: The optimal source of compressed air for our lifting bags in rough terrain.

Filling hoses (2 x):
With a length of five metres, they are the optimal compromise between low dead weight and flexibility in the terrain. The two different colours (red and yellow) prevent confusion during operation.

DeWALT 54-volt batteries (2 x):
They provide the necessary power (13 complete strokes and discharge per battery) and are also quickly recharged after use. A charger is included.

Control element:
Precise filling of the lifting bags – for safe and smooth lifting of debris.

Backpack:
Custom-made from robust polyester. All important parts are efficiently placed and reachable with a few hand grips.

Rain cover:
Permanently installed, it enables the compressor to be operated even in bad weather conditions.
