The history of Hamilton Hydraulics
Hamilton Hydraulic Services cc was founded in 1995 to supply, service and repair hydraulic rescue equipment. Our primary market being the emergency, fire and rescue services, industrial facilities and mines.
Hamilton Hydraulic Services began its association with Godiva in 1996 and was appointed as their sole distributor for the repair of Hurst Jaws of Life© rescue equipment in Southern Africa and later as sole distributor directly by Hurst in the USA. Hurst Jaws of Life© rescue tools have been around for over 50 years and are presently part of the Idex Corporation. In 2002, Hamilton Hydraulic Services became associated with Lukas Germany and has been their sole distributor in South Africa since 2010 for the supply of hydraulic rescue equipment, e-Draulic rescue equipment and industrial tools. Lukas, also part of the Idex Group since 1995, produced their first rescue tools in 1972. Also in 2002, we became associated with Vetter Germany and have been their sole distributor in South Africa since 2010 for the supply of lifting bags and accessories. Vetter, also part of the Idex Group since 2004, produced their first lifting bag in 1971. The company operates from its premises in Gauteng and has a fully equipped workshop facility and staff experienced in the service and repairs to all makes of hydraulic rescue equipment. We are also able to loan rescue equipment to customers while their equipment is being serviced or repaired. We are distributors and suppliers of:
